I get the following error message under Windows 98
CANNOT FIND IMPORT; DLL MAY BE MISSING, CORRUPT OR WRONG VERSION FILE 'OLEAUT32.DLL'; FUNCTION VaRNoT (ERROR 127)

Please download dcom 1.3 or visit Microsoft at the following link and download dcom 1.3 there.

I get the following error message while running FindReplaceExcel
CLASS NOT REGISTERED
ANSWER
Please make sure Microsoft Excel has been installed on your computer.
3 ARE THERE MULTIPLE LICENCES ?
ANSWER
One registered copy of each program may either be used by a single person .
This means that each person must have his own copy of the licence
You may access the registered version of Filehunter software through a network, provided
that you have obtained individual licenses for the software covering all
workstations that will access the software through the network. For instance, if
5 different workstations will access Filehunter software on the network, each workstation
must have its own Filehunter software license, regardless of whether they use Filehunter
software
at different times or concurrently.
PDF SEARCHER QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
1. Why could'nt PDFSearcher extract text from all pdf files ?
ANSWER
OCR software is needed to extract images from PDF files .PDFSearcher can only extract text.
Embedded fonts cannot be converted to text.
2. Why am I missing some of the converted pdf text file ?
ANSWER
In the evaluation version 1/2 of the the text file is hidden. This is to encourage you to purchase the full registered version. You can see the whole file in the full registered version of pdfsearcher.
3. Why Can't all searchstrings be found in the pdf file ?
ANSWER
If the search string is in an image , then it will not be found. Pdf searcher can only search text inside pdf files NOT images.
